Oxford 600D is a versatile polyester fabric that combines durability with an elegant appearance. Woven in a dense 600 × 600D basket weave, it offers exceptional strength and abrasion resistance. Thanks to a double polyurethane (PU) coating, the fabric is waterproof, windproof and suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications. At the same time, it remains soft and flexible, making it pleasant to touch and easy to work with. Oxford 600D has long been valued by manufacturers of garden furniture, leather goods, children’s accessories and workwear.

Oxford 600D stands out for its functionality and aesthetics – the dense weave, matte finish and wide range of colors make it ideal for products that combine design with durability. Products made from Oxford are resistant to stains and dirt. Most dirt can be removed with a damp cloth or soft sponge and a mild cleaning agent. Avoid aggressive chemicals with solvents or bleach. Properly cared for, this polyester fabric offers long-lasting durability.

Basket weave
Basket weave (a derivative of plain weave) is one of the simplest and most versatile weaving techniques, in which warp (vertical) and weft (horizontal) threads are interlaced in pairs or larger groups instead of individually. This creates a structure that looks like the fibers are “arranged in a checkerboard pattern.” Its origins go back to antiquity – basket-like weaves were used by ancient Egyptians, Chinese, and pre-Columbian peoples in the Americas to make mats, baskets, and fabrics. The compact structure reduces snagging, increasing both the aesthetics and durability of the fabric, even under intensive use. The even distribution of tension makes the fabric resistant to stretching and abrasion.
