Polyester backing tape is a type of strong but relatively thin tape used mainly to create handles and structural elements in accessories for haberdashery, sports, children's and pets.

Polyester webbing - characteristics

Durable
Polyester webbing made of smooth fibres with a woven structure has good resistance to abrasion and medium loads.
Rough
The backing tape has a pronounced, porous structure. This texture works well for accessories with an applied adjuster. It is additionally secured against sliding.
Good for printing
Polyester tapes are an excellent material for printing. They will work well, for example, for cold-fixed screen printing.

Use of polyester tapes

Polyester tape 30 mm wide can be used:
- in the form of straps for sachets and kidneys;
- to create handles and adjustable straps in bags, satchels and backpacks;
- for sewing straps in bags for electronic equipment.
